NEED DE-IONIZED DELIVERED?
Done.
For companies needing a temporary supply of deionized water, we deliver it in whatever method works best for their operation. We’ll hook up a tanker; drop off a tote; or fill up existing vessels.
Top-quality, ultra-clean tankers of every size.
That includes 20,000-gallon tankers custom-made for us and our customers. They all feature open barrel design and they’re all cleaned and sanitized to DI water storage specs.
We’ll install a temporary filtration system at your site.
We’ll bring the system to your site and set it up. It’s there as long as you need it—filling your containers or our stainless steel tankers.
IBC totes when you need them, as long as you need them.
We serve any site or industry that needs a temporary supply of deionized water.

Unmatched purity for critical applications.
The purity of DI water makes it a perfect ingredient and process element in food and beverage operations. In some industries it is used in sanitation, particularly as a cleaning solvent.
WHY DAVIS WATER SERVICE?
Water is all we do.
Every one of us, at every location, is focused on one thing: getting pure water where it’s needed. Our engineers are regarded in the industry, sometimes asked to advise officials on water quality. We typically produce DI water at 18 MΩ-cm (0.056 µS/cm) and, when mobilizing our DI skids, we can filter on site and deliver 15-18 MΩ-cm (0.056-0.066 µS/cm) depending on feed water quality.
Scale up fast with consistent quality.
We respond quickly when you need more volume. We’ve got equipment on hand to make the change with little or no advance notice.

DEIONIZED

Distilled
WHAT’S the DIFFERENCE?
Untreated water contains dissolved mineral ions.
The ions carry a positive or negative charge and appear in water as dissolved salts. Removal of the charged particles results in water of higher purity and less conductivity.
Distillation and deionization are two methods for removing the ions.
Distilled water is boiled until its impurities are vaporized. Deionized water is passed through an anion exchanger to remove them. Deionized water offers the highest level of purity.
They’re not interchangeable.
In every application where distilled water can be used, deionized can also be used. However, in applications that require highly purified deionized water, it is important not to use distilled water.
